Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Reading Comprehension
Three extracts from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with three sets of differentiated questions attached with each extract. These activities will help children work on a range of comprehension skills using a story many are already aware of and engaged with. Questions range from simple retrieval to commenting on why particular language has been used.

Newspaper planning and resources
Fully planned, differentiated and resourced unit of work looking at newspapers. Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 15-17 lessons that focus on key features of newspapers and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7.
Skills include: Using alliteration, punctuating speech accurately, converting direct speech to reported speech and work on pronouns.

Charmander Reading Comprehension
Reading comprehensions related to Pokemon to try and engage children whilst also developing their comprehension skills. Included is a fact file about Charmander with three differentiated sets of 10 questions with the answers included.
Roman Colosseum Reading Comprehension
A reading comprehension that includes a fact file about The Colosseum and is then followed up with three differentiated worksheets that check their comprehension skills (answers included).
St David's Day Reading Comprehension
A fact file that looks at St David's Day, including a brief introduction to who St David was and how he is celebrated in the modern day. Also included are three differentiated worksheets with questions related to the text they have read with the answers included.
Written with Year 5/6 in mind but can be used higher up.
Writing Help Mat
These writing help mats have been made for Year 6 in mind but can easily be used with other children.
Simply print out the two pages and laminate them back to back to give children a work mat to help their writing and ensure they are addressing a number of the statements required for end of Key Stage writing assessments.

French - Months of the year
The months of the year represented with their name in French. Can be used for displays or for simple activities to help children learn the months of the year in French.
Linking adverbials (Time) word mat
A word mat originally created to help children use linking adverbs of time in their instruction writing. Useful for children to have in front of them for their writing to give them different examples of time adverbials that move a sequence of events on.
Earth and Space (Year 5 Fully planned and resource scheme of work)
Teach children all about the Sun, Earth and Moon with this block of differentiated lesson plans and resources.
These seven lessons take children on a journey from the developing understanding of the Solar System models to writing their own reports.
