A fact file about Queen Victoria that is also a reading comprehension. This includes three differentiated worksheets with 12 questions each and answers included to test children's comprehension knowledge as well as learning about Queen Victoria at the same time.

Three fact file/ knowledge sheets that children can use to know about reared, caught and processed foods. These are useful as prompts for children that may be struggling or as overviews with examples of different types of food, seasonality and definitions for each one.
A worksheet with word problems that look at testing children on picking out key information from the question then work out the fraction they are dividing and then complete the calculation with questions getting progressively harder.

Two lessons to focus on the physical and human geography of Britain in particular but the United Kingdom as a whole.
Lesson 1 (titled Lesson 2) - A lesson that focuses on the physical geography of Britain, including looking at the rivers, seas and terrain. Three different structure strips that can be used for children struggling with their writing. These can be used when writing about animals for an information text and give children a basic structure to their main paragraphs.
A mini-assessment for children based on a number of fraction topics. The idea of this assessment is to give them it before they begin a unit on fractions and then after again with improvement being shown in their knowledge and understanding. Questions towards the end also include elements of reasoning to show a deeper understanding.

A lesson on synonyms and antonyms. Included is the lesson presentation that discusses antonyms and synonyms before finding examples and looking at how to use a thesaurus accurately. Also included are three differentiated worksheets that focus on being able to find antonyms and synonyms.
Activities that work on children being able to identify adjectives in a sentence. These have been created for LA or SEN children to help them build their understanding of adjectives.
An activity that gives children the opportunity to create their own Viking shield. Included is a design template that includes the iron boss on already and two pages of design ideas that might help children decide what they want to do.
All the resources required for children to independently create their own instructions for creating a Halloween potion of some sort. Included are examples of potions from Harry Potter, different lists of potential items and key linking adverbs and imperative verbs. Also included is a cauldron picture where children can draw or list ingredients that will go in.
Aimed at 5/6 where they should be confident with instruction writing anyway so can be used as they are for a couple of lessons of independent writing.
An activity that requires children to identify missing commas within an extract. Included is an extract from Harry Potter with the commas removed and the extract with commas included.
A simple whole class marking sheet that can be used for KS2 English. This can then be used to feedback, with this being used effectively for independent writing as it doesn't give specific advice to a specific individual but looks at what has worked well, where to improve and other areas of focus.
The PDF version is a simple print and write on sheet while the PowerPoint offers the opportunity to type notes instead.
A knowledge organiser for the Industrial Revolution. Included within this is a timeline for the period as well as a key vocabulary section for some of the words children may come across during the topic.
These are useful for either sticking in books at the start of the topic to refer back to or to enlarge and have on display.
Blank squares of differing numbers that children can use as a laminated mat to help them solve problems involving fractions using the Singapore Bar model. Simply put the sheets back to back, laminate and children will have a reusable template for the Bar model.
It is a simple sheet but is just an idea for people to use and saves a few minutes creating it should you then wish to use it.
