A fun game that can be used to revise being able to read coordinates or even as an activity as part of learning to read coordinates. Included is a coordinates grid for themselves and an enemy grid to colour against with both of these being all four quadrants. Also included are pairs of ships for both players, either using the thinner versions or thicker versions.

A simple guided reading session that focuses on a book without reading the book. Included is: A simple activity to help develop children's understanding of reading comprehension, getting them to think about what different questions are looking for by matching the question up to what they would need to find. An activity that gets children to think about what questions they can ask just by looking at the front cover before trying to answer some of these based on the clues available. An activity with the blurb, deciding what extra information it offers and whether it has changed their thinking about what will happen in the story.
