A presentation that includes 195 past questions that can be used as a revision tool for Year 6 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling or that can be used to pick and choose from for starter questions in English sessions. Questions are taken from the sample paper as well as the 2016, 2017 and 2018 paper. Easily usable as talking points with children practising a question at a time before then discussing the answer and why that is the case.

A fully resourced 10 lesson unit on the Romans and their impact on Britain. The lessons are done as mini enquiry questions with 5 questions and a review lesson at the end of the unit. This has been created for mixed 3/4 classes but can easily be adapted to be used across Key Stage 2. The questions are as follows with the approximate amount of lessons in brackets: EQ1 - What was happening in Britain before the Romans arrived? (1 lesson) EQ2 - Why did the Romans find Britain difficult to conquer? (2.5 - 3 lessons) EQ3 - Did everyone give the Romans the same welcome? (1 lesson) Review lesson Included is a booklet format that includes all the questions, all the supporting information required and the activities linked to this. These can easily be separated into mini booklets per question or the activities can be taken out to suit how you teach history in your school. As much as possible, images, models and diagrams have been used to make the information as accessible as possible to refer back to following discussions. Each question also has key vocabulary and recap questions as well (the first lesson links to our previous unit of Ancient Greece so can be easily adapted) and finishes with the enquiry question to support written outcomes in history. Each enquiry question also has a PowerPoint that includes the information and diagrams from the booklet as well as any additional notes etc. There is also a knowledge summary organiser - these can be sent home to show what they are learning about as well as being used in class as a succinct way of accessing the key information from the lesson. All the resources have been uploaded as PowerPoints so that you can easily adapt them to suit your setting.

A lesson presentation and activity sheet that goes with it for practise questions. The focus is being able to find the whole based on fractions of amounts by using the bar model to support them with an example and six practise questions that link to the sheet. This is then followed up with a worksheet that requires children to practise being able to find the whole based on fractions of amounts. As well as a number of practise questions there are then also reasoning/ problem solving style questions with the answers also included.

A range of resources for a lesson/ lessons on the Treaty of Versailles, based on the AQA Conflict specification. Included is a presentation that includes the objectives of the lesson, a brief recap about how World War One began before focussing on the terms. There are regular questions throughout to check understanding/ gain their viewpoints whilst there are also some essay style questions to attempt to answer. Also included are a number of simple activities, including labelling a map, ranking terms of the treaty and writing how different sides would have felt about particular terms. If you like it/ feel there are areas to improve please leave me feedback as this is my first attempt at a 9-1 resource.

A number of worksheets that check children's fluency with adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator by getting them to fill in the missing circles to complete the calculation. This includes simple ones as well as adding steps to the calculation process.

A lesson that focuses on active and passive. Included is the PowerPoint with some key recap elements before working on active and passive. This will include identifying the difference, identifying subject, object and verb and changing sentences into active or passive. Also included are green challenge bubbles for children who finish the tasks whilst others are working on them. There is then an activity for children to work through and an exit question taken from a KS2 GPS test.

A lesson made looking at adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. Included is a PowerPoint with L.O and S.C as well as examples to work through. This includes a practice sheet that children can work through for the questions on the board. A range of times table mastery check documents. Each one contains 10 questions that check children's understanding of the a times table through more complex methods than just giving them a times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers. Also included are times table builders and an example of how these can be used to then build different answers e.g. 16 x 4 from the 4 x builder.

Four fully resourced lessons that focus on classification in Year 6 Living Things, getting children to consider how they might classify before beginning to learn about the actual classification system. This then moves on to children working on different classes and creating their own animal based on a particular class.

Three differentiated worksheets that focus on being able to use semi-colons, particularly between two independent clauses. These then move on to checking children's understanding through questions before the HA activity gets children to write their own sentences with semi-colons. Written with Year 5/6 children in mind but can be easily used in other year groups.

All of the questions related to fractions from the two previous end of Key Stage Two tests under the new assessment framework and from the original sample test. These questions have been split into arithmetic paper questions and reasoning papers and are also in a combined example. These can be used for a number of reasons including practise of fraction questions or pre and post teaching assessments for fractions

This can be used for a range of things, whether it be just to print the help sheets to encourage children to be independent or to give children a practise activity or activity that requires them to think more deeply.

Starter activity for children to complete in English on a daily basis (if time is available) that focuses on a spelling activity, grammar activity and punctuation activity each day. They cover various aspects of the Year 5/6 English curriculum and can be stuck in books afterwards or filed away to show understanding. New ones will continue to be added.

Both assessments are uploaded separately but have been uploaded together for ease where people want both. History and Geography assessment grids from Year 1 to 6 that can be used to check children's understanding and use as a progress measure if wished. These are to be used as best fit as there may be some areas they are weaker/ more confident in with the aim being a best fit judgement. I created these as there appears to be a gap in both history and geography assessment at the minute in primary schools since the move to assessment without levels. This enables schools to have something in place for a foundation subject that links well to other curricular areas, as well as showing an assessment system should visitors wish to know how you monitor progress.
