Written Addition and Subtraction Double Lesson
A double lesson that focuses on using written addition and subtraction, including with decimal numbers. Included is the double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter at the start of each lesson, key vocabulary as well as then modelling and guided practice. There is then an independent activity that carries over the two lessons and challenge activities when they finish.
Stone Age Information Text Reading Comprehensions
An information text about the Stone Age (extract courtesy of the History channel) that is then linked to three different comprehension activities (suitable for Upper KS2). One activity is based around vocabulary and the other two are based around general comprehension. All three activities include answer sheets.
