A lesson aimed at the Year 3 Science unit of Animals including Humans. This lesson is the fifth lesson of a sequence, looking at muscles. The lesson presentation includes a recap task looking at prior learning from a previous lesson (can easily be discarded if you are using this as a stand alone lesson) key vocabulary and discussion around why muscles are important to us and how they work. This is then followed by an independent activity working on applying the learning about muscles and how they work. This is then followed by a challenge question regarding exercise and breathing heavier. An answer sheet and support sheet are also included, with an answer sheet also included for the recap task. Alongside this is a second version of the lesson aimed at any groups who may be working at a lower level. The aim of the lesson is the same and there is a presentation, activity with answers and support sheet at a more appropriate level.

A lesson aimed at the Year 3 Science unit of Animals including Humans. This lesson is the sixth and final lesson of a sequence, focusing on reviewing the unit/ acting as an assessment of what children can remember and understand. There are a number of different tasks that link to what has been taught over the unit, including true or false, labelling diagrams, and thinking about different importances of parts of the body. An answer sheet is also included and a presentation of the activity to discuss answers along each stage. There is a second version of the review task also created for any group working at a slightly lower level with all the same factors and answer sheet included.

25 different activities linked to the 3x table that give the opportunity to work on and improve understanding of the 3x table facts in different ways. This includes activities that range from list questions that help show commutativity, inverse and multiples of 10, 0.1 etc., filling in tables that require children to make links between different facts, completing sequences that link to the ability to count in 3s and using written multiplication and division using facts from the 3x table. Additionally, there are tasks linked to fractions in finding fractions of amounts, multiplying and dividing fractions by whole numbers and multiplying a fraction by a fraction. Answers are also included for every activity in a separate booklet.

Answer booklets are also included for each separate times table.
