Five activities that work well for KS2 children in English looking at Fireworks night. Includes: defining the meaning of words, reading for understanding and creating written pieces themselves.

This is a helpful sheet that is used to show children how to complete a three digit by two digit multiplication. Each step is colour coded to help show children what they need to do before then moving on to the next step. This helps give children independence whilst ensuring they have help if they go wrong through a step by step guide.

Six lessons that apply a cross curricular approach to PSHE and Computer Science. Children will work on bullying and cyber bullying, being able to identify these as well as knowing what to do in the event of bullying. This links with Computer Science through being able to use search engines effectively, knowing how to stay safe online and through creating a PowerPoint that looks at using a number of the tools available to them including hyperlinking slides.

Attached is a look at how to improve Maths throughout a whole primary school. Through the mastery powerpoint you will be given insight into research that looks at how schools can deliver a mastery approach for all children. This will include examples of how to use these through methods I have used myself. A Powerpoint that looks at how to use the P.E and Sport Premium funding efficiently. It introduces the aims of the funding before providing different ideas of how the funding could be used whilst making sure that it is an efficient use. This includes looking at the use of coaches, working collaboratively and equipment before then discussing the importance of monitoring and how to ensure measureable impact.

Guided reading sessions that are used with Year 5 children. These are used as a whole class activity, initially reading through the text with children before then getting them to answer questions that check their understanding of language before picking out key facts and inferring from the text. N.B. I did not create this structure but saw it used elsewhere. These are just question sheets I have made that follow a successful strategy.

A fun activity involving nouns that children can complete. Each template has a building layout and a structure that children have to follow to build it up e.g. common noun, proper noun, abstract noun or pronoun. They will take a noun grid and cut up the examples, sticking correct examples to the correct building block until they have finished the 'construction' of their noun building. These are just a starter set and there will be more to follow.

Two sets of sheets that can be used as word banks for children to help them with their writing. Both contain examples of moving time on in a piece of writing, whether it be a certain time in the day or moving time on a couple of days or weeks.
