Two sets of sheets that can be used as word banks for children to help them with their writing. Both contain examples of changing the action or the setting, whether it be beginning, moving on or concluding.

A word bank sheet that children can have in front of them/ on display to help them with their writing. Included are a range of conjunctions for a range of features including: to add to something, to sequence, as a consequence, to contrast, to offer certainty or condition, to define, to sum up, to offer examples, reasons and time.

A sheet that looks at the Dawes plan, briefly recapping why the need arose and what the key terms were for the Dawes plan. Useful for a brief overview or revision to remember key elements of the Dawes plan.

A display poster/ grid that can be made for children to stick in their book that includes some of the key features for 6 different text types in writing: Newspaper reports, Information texts, Discussion, Persuasion, Narrative and Instructions. These can be used for children to make comparisons between text types, to self-assess whether they have included the key features or simply as a reminder of some of the different key features.

A range of resources to help children with different areas of Maths. Included are: A Maths game that works on revising some key vocabulary such as prime numbers, multiples and using the greater than and less than symbol as well as opening up varied discussion about why particular numbers fit where they do or why they should be used elsewhere. Everything needed to play this is attached including an explanation of the rules. Perfect for a starter, plenary or just for a 5-10 minute break where they can practise some reasoning activities. A range of questions that children can be thinking about when they are analysing historical sources. These are differentiated and have been created with Year 5/6 in mind but can just as easily be used higher or lower.

Mini character sheets that identify five of the key figures in the downfall of the Weimar Republic from 1932, identifying their potential roles that led to the rise of Nazism.

An activity that focuses on capital letters and full stops. It has been made to be used as an intervention task, requiring children to think about when they would use them and why before then applying this to sentences and their own previous work.

Six fully planned and resourced lessons for upper KS2 looking at different aspects of digital media and their content. Lessons include looking at staying safe online and finding report functions, looking at information on the internet and whether it is completely factual or not, the importance of copyright and respecting it followed by referencing sources accurately from the internet, in addition to being able to use search engines effectively.

A lesson that was used to work on children's multiplication and division skills through recap activities as well as then looking at their ability to become fluent through missing number problems. Included are the slides and worksheet with answer.

Make Maths Matter is a 12 week intervention that is designed to build children's number confidence in Key Stage Two. Within the scheme is an explanation of the thinking behind the way it has been planned out and why it is important to start with the basics. There is then a mini plan for the three sessions each week to be led by either a teacher or teaching assistant that explains the purpose of each session. This is finished off by an Appendix that explains particular concepts in more details and gives a brief description of how each resource is to be used.

A fully resourced lesson that focuses on being able to convert between km and m. The lesson presentation focuses on a range of questions and building understanding as well as guided practise questions for children to practise what they are learning. This is followed by one of two sheets based on confidence (answers included) before a final challenge question on the lesson presentation.

Two simple sheets that can support children when trying to get them to use personification in their writing. One sheet has examples of simple sentences using personification as well as examples of actions they could use to personify. The second sheet includes the actions and examples of things they may wish to personify.

A set of lesson plans aimed at designing a way through units of measurement and specific elements of shape. Each lesson can take up to 2 sessions so with 10 lessons there are up to 20 sessions of planning ideas here. Can be used to design PowerPoints that then run the lesson before creating worksheets that practise or take elements further. I have used White Rose materials to then help me with this but you may have resources, workbooks or sheets that you would rather use. The primary purpose of this resource is to give ideas of how to design lessons, not provide the lessons themselves.
