Included is a range of information, maps to show particular points e.g. where the Soviet Union was and who is there now as well as how far the camps spread. The third lesson of a sequence for light in Year 6. Initially, children will spend time recapping what they can remember from the previous lesson before working on creating an investigation that focuses on how shadows change. Included to support them with their write up is an investigation mat.

The fifth lesson of a sequence for light in Year 6. Initially, the focus of this lesson is reflection, recapping learning from the previous lesson. The lesson then moves on to focussing on refraction with children completing activities off the PowerPoint, the print out activity and watching a video to then further develop their understanding.

A lesson that focuses on being able to find 50 and 25% of numbers as well as using this to then find 75%. The lesson presentation includes examples of how to half and divide by 4 as well as having guided practice questions that include challenges. There is then a worksheet to work through including practice and more challenging questions as well as a set of answers.

Three lessons that focus on learning about Rousseau before recreating one of his pieces or an image from the rainforest in his style. Within the lessons is a discussion about the art and a focus on some key terms before children then pick which image they want to recreate, initially in pencil. The lessons then move on to evaluating their first design and recreating the image using different art resources before a final evaluation of this in the third lesson, whilst recapping the first lesson knowledge.

A lesson for Year 5 based on adding fractions together from the White Rose Maths planning, with the focus being on recapping adding fractions using the same denominator. The lesson starts with a starter that recaps key arithmetic features they have studied to support fluency before working on two different models and getting children to answer questions using these. This then moves on to challenging their understanding before giving them practice questions and challenge questions to solve. Pink bubbles are included to remind them what they can use whilst green bubbles provide extra challenge to those who finish. Also included is a sheet with the two models and two challenge questions so they can be cut out and stuck in books if necessary.

An addition and subtraction activity that uses variation to get children to think about the links in what is happening before getting them to reason this. Questions are Year 3 based but activity could easily be used higher up to check whether children can identify links.
