An gap-fill activity to learn the colours of the rainbow in French. I have also included worksheets introducing the words: bleu clair and bleu foncé. I teach from nursery to year 6 so I find that especially with the little ones the shades of blue are more useful in their colouring. Also includes everyday pictures for the childrn to match the word to complete the sentence. There is also a completed copy. There is a colouring activity. Children follow the instructions to colour and then write in the colour names of the rainbow. Another colouing pictures allows the children to choose the colours to colour the picture. FRENCH - Adjectives - Les Adjectifs (les Contraires) - Worksheets
An exciting and fun way to introduce a range of adjectives, using opposite words in French. I have given both mas/fem adjectives where needed. There is a colour matching activity. Follow-on work includes translating and a gap-fill activity. Also included are flashcards. We made up actions for all of adjectives. I backed and laminated one set of words in one colour card and the other set in a different colour. I placed one set onto the whiteboard and from the muddled set students came to match the opposite words correctly. Using a timer made it more challenging. The kids loved it and with lots of practice they were soon able to start using these adjectives in sentences.
