Aimed at A level French students studying ‘Un Secret’ for paper 2, the resource includes: A revision PPT with tasks and extension tasks to cater to students of different abilities. The PPT focuses on revision mainly, with there being a brief summary, a biography on the author, a summary of main characters, a recap of the main themes, information on historical context, the relevance of time and space in the book, a comment on the structure of the book, a family tree so students can understand character relationships better, a comment on the cinema adaptation of the book. There is a translation from French into English, from a literary critic’s blog on the film. This is also useful to the students doing the AS exam as translation will be required.
