A resource I created to give to A level/Year 11 students as an in-class exam which can be particularly useful for Assessment Points.
It tests the following:
Pronouns: exercises include re-writing sentences and replacing certain words with the correct pronouns
Tenses: give the correct conjugation of the verb with the correct tense
Translating questions and inverting verbs into French
*Comes with answers provided on the last page of the document.
** This test normally lasts around 45 minutes so I have enough time to explain what we’re doing in the lesson and then do a short plenary or starter activity.
Questions answered:
• Analiza las técnicas que utiliza Guillermo del Toro para explorar el mundo fantástico de Ofelia.
• Analiza el tema de la guerra en la película. ¿Cuáles son las técnicas que utiliza el director para evocar la época en la que transcurre la historia?
These questions are particularly useful for providing evidence to essay points, for showing what content can be used to tackle specific questions, and to get students to practice being the marker.
