A fun little spinner game for KS1 and SEN children learning or consolidating their numbers from 0 to 10 with 20 included. There are 2 number spinners and 2 number word spinners. There is a board with numbers and one with number words. There are also picture cards showing objects from 0 to 10 and 20. These are black and white and can be coloured in, cut and ordered too. Cut out the spinners and add the hands / arrows with split pins. Laminate for reuse. Cut out the individual number /word/picture cards or leave as boards for children to cover with counters when they spin the corresponding numbers. Alternatively, use the word and number spinners on their own for a matching game.

Teacher could describe a picture and the children can identify which one it is from a group. The final page shows sets of 3 tower pictures. Can children find the 3 pictures that make up the set? Duplicate the pictures for matching card games. Extend by asking children to combine animal pictures into towers of their own.

This is an activity where children collect up objects and test them with magnets to see if they are magnetic. There is a poster showing a collection of objects for testing and a template poster for you or the children to use to draw or write in. You could use a kitchen drawer divider to make your collections in for testing. There is a collection of 18 pictures of everyday objects that children can collect and test. The pictures can be cut out and used for sorting, pasting and discussion. There are 2 recording sheets, 1 where the children can make lists and 1 for children to paste the pictures onto under the headings YES and NO.
