A fun activity where there are 12 types of land vehicle cards for children to cut out and sort into those going right and those going left. Children can use the initials R and L to help them. There is a colour and a black and white version of each type of vehicle. Children can colour these, cut and match.

A final worksheet that allows children to draw or paste pictures of items with curved, straight, or mixed lines and shapes. This worksheet can serve as a review of the concepts learned.
Instructions for Use:
Cutting and Sorting: Begin by cutting out the cards on each of the five pages. Laminate them for durability if desired.
Categorization Activities: Use the cards to engage children in sorting activities. They can sort by type of line (curved vs. straight), by shape, or by whether the object is natural or man-made.

A fun way to incorporate maths with your topic on Animals, Pets and / or clothing.
Cut out the 24 colour pictures of socks for children to make into pairs of Pets socks.
Children can look out for pattern and colour to help them with their sorting and matching.
Once the socks are all paired, children can use the sock template worksheet to create their own Pet sock designs on the white socks and make these into matching pairs.
There is a blank sheet that children can paste pairs onto or draw their own socks and designs. For younger children and / or a practical element, ask children to bring in a pair of socks and create a class sorting sock activity! Another idea is to have a box of socks that children rummage through to find matching pairs – use a timer for more fun!
‘Count, Colour, and Design Easter Eggs’ is a resource designed specifically for Early Years and KS1 children.
There is a planning sheet outlining the 3 lessons, objectives, resources needed and step by step instructions.
The resource combines the festive spirit of Easter with learning objectives including colour recognition, counting to 20, following instructions, and creativity.
Through the 3 activities, children will have the opportunity to match colours on Easter eggs, follow specific colouring instructions, create unique designs, and practice basic counting.
An EYFS activity based on Trees linked to Colour, Shape and Pattern.
There are 3 designs of trees.
Each of the types of trees have 3 worksheets.
Colour in the black and white tree to match the colour version.
Cut out the colour leaves and add them to the tree outline to recreate the tree exactly or to make a new version.
Colour in the leaf outlines to match the colours or use own colours. Then cut out the leaves and add to the tree.
For little fingers, you may want to enlarge the sheets for cutting out.

A maths resource for EYFS and KS1.

There are 4 heart shaped puzzles.
Children can trace the outlines of the heart shapes, overwrite the numbers, colour in and add pictures of their own.
The puzzles can be cut out and then reassembled.
