An EYFS or KS1 resource linked to numbers from one to twelve. Page 1 shows colour number shapes with words and numerals for children to cut and match. Page 2 is the same as page 1 but in black and white. Children can colour these in. Pages 3,4,5 and 6 each have three number shapes showing words and numerals in black and white. Pages 7,8.9 and 10 are the sames as 3,4 , 5,6 but in colour. Finally page 11 is a shape template in black and white showing 6 shapes. Children can add their own number words, numerals and colours. Can be used as visual aids, added to displays or activities for sorting, matching and ordering.

4 activity sheets are included here showing 2D shapes. Sheet 1 shows 12 colour picture cards to name and talk about. Duplicate, print and cut and match. Sheet 2 shows the same pictures as sheet 1 in black and white. Children can colour these in and / or cut and match to the colour pictures. Sheet 3 shows all the shapes for children to name, label and colour in. Sheet 4 has a box for each shape that children can read the names and draw in. (The boxes here are shuffled and thus in a different order than the previous ones). Useful for children learning their shapes and colours and those pupils learning English.

Sheet 1 shows objects that are shaped like the 4 shapes for children to identify, talk about and colour in. Sheet 2 asks children to trace the 4 shapes. This ‘Exploring 3D Shapes with Colours for KS1’ resource is an interactive, hands-on learning experience that supports learning of 3D shapes, particularly cubes,colour and pattern recognition. By engaging with a variety of activities, from building, colouring to puzzle solving, children will develop essential skills like problem-solving and spatial awareness. Sheet 1 is a planning sheet with 5 suggested ideas for using the resources. Sheets 2,3 and 4 are colour posters showing cube patterns for children to recreate. Sheet 5 is a large colour cube made up of smaller cubes - children can recreate the cube. Sheet 6 is a black and white version of the large cube. There are 3 worksheets for children to copy and recreate patterns. Finally there is a template of cubes that children can cut out and use in a variety of ways. The resource can form the basis of a lesson, make up a unit of work, or just dip in and out for 3D shape worksheets.
