4 word challenge games for Key stage 2. Solve the anagrams to find the name of 8 flowers / animals/fish and birds. Each anagram has an extra letter that is not needed. Put these extra letters in order to give the name of another flower / animal /fish and bird. This is fun and challenging at the same time as well as very satisfying when the answers are retrieved!

This is a nice activity for EYFS or KS1. There are 8 different ideas here to stimulate your children to create their own Shadow boxes or framed nature pictures including bugs, trees, plants and fruits. Use card / junk modelling or wood if available with support as needed.
