Here is a simple Autumn tale reading and writing activity. Children can read the text and fill in the missing words. The answers are given in red on the next slide and the pictures around the colour border help children with the words they need. There is a blank border page where children can make up their own Autumn tale and use the pictures to help them. Alternatively, they can draw a picture of the Autumn tale or an Autumn picture of their own. A fun with food activity linked to numbers 1 to 6. Sheet 1 shows sushi arranged on a table. Sheet 2 shows 6 individual sushi in different colours. Sheet 3 shows a template that children can fill in. Sheet 4 shows an empty table that children could paste sushi onto. The idea is that children cut out the individual sushi and organise them in as many different ways that they can so that each arrangement is different but still adds up to 6.
