Although used as a picture quiz the “pictures” are actual “directional” words.

They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources.
So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH.
If the concept works PLEASE let me know and I will add other TEMPLATES I have created.
The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated.
They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular.
As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic.
Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2.

Florence Nightingale [WRITING STORYBOARDS ] uses the same simple cataloguing code for the pictures and the “tooltips” coding for the information.
The only addition is coding for a simple text box into which learners can type their story. Sadly, the text isn’t kept but a “screenshot” of the page would give a record of the work.

MEMORY GAME again is a simple piece of coding which allows learners to “find” matching pictures by remembering where they are.
However, what I soon realised was that if you used “named” pictures it also became another activity.
The size and numbers of the frames can obviously be increased and pictures without names become another activity.

information over picture [digestive system] combines a number of little pieces of coding which I think help learning.
Again it puts learners in control of the pace at which they learn as they don’t need to learn what they already know. They can make it disappear.
I have managed to incorporate an animation in one of the frames.

JIGWORD is a simple piece of coding where you have three columns of frames.

Counting with Blue Dots [pandas] is a simple activity based upon a 30x10 invisible grid which can be placed over any picture.
