All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I know nothing of computer coding but started with one piece of free coding and have been adapting that by incorporating additional free coding. They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH.

I have called them TEACHER TOOLS as I think they are the types of activities which maybe useful to have at hand. They are created as TEMPLATES so if you download the source code you can change the content yourself. A simple flip box with a picture on the upside and a word on the downside. By hovering over the pictures the words are made visible. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. They are created as TEMPLATES for you to adapt and add your own content. The screenshots can be downloaded simply as worksheets. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2021/05/flip-boxes-anagrams.html The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular. As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic. Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2. learnanytime@gmail.com

The concept is simple in that there are 16 pictures which by connection fit into a 4x4 grid. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I know nothing of computer coding but started with one piece of free coding and have been adapting that by incorporating additional free coding. This is my next attempt to share some of my resources. It is an activity based on some code I call “tooltips” which allows text to appear over a picture to give information. I have added an aspect with some code ! call “radio buttons”. The advantage being that once learners “know” the format other information can be included. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. It is an activity based around facts about the Earth and the Solar System. It is an activity based around a series of pictures and text which “drop down” on a click. This means that learners are in control of the pace at which they learn. Obviously, any text and pictures could be inserted. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. Idioms [connecting idiom and text meaning] [food] [4]

(0)
An idiom is a phrase that, when taken as a whole, has a meaning you wouldn’t be able to work out from the meanings of the individual words. In this simple activity learners have to try and match an idiom with the correct meaning. To help the learners understand this concept if they correctly match the pairs the “meaning” will turn yellow, if not it will turn red. It means that learners can move the “meanings” around until they match the correct pair. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. This is an adaptation of a couple of previous activities combined. I had been asked if I could make some of the pictures larger [almost in a slide format] still keeping the “notes” visible but smaller. The quiz element just added another dimension to test learners’ understanding of the topic. Again this is a template and so could be any topic, any pictures and any notes.
