He loved colouring and this was a way to motivate him. They helped him to successfully learn all 26 initial sounds. They can be used by all children and though suitable for use with all schemes, do progress in order - so if the phonic programme your child/ren is/are using does not follow the order of the alphabet, then maybe wait until all of the sounds have been taught.
