(NEW) BTEC L3 Nationals in Appied Science Unit 3 - Assessment grid - using exam language from unit 3

This assessment grid use exam language to assess learners. The other Unit 3 grid found on my resources should be used when training learners how to write plans. This grid should be used to assess learners who are ready for their exam. It uses language taken directly from the BTEC mark scheme and will help learners to see where they are missing easy marks for section 1 and 2 of the exam.

This booklet can be used along with any A Level Psychology book to help direct learners when working out of lesson, homework, cover work or guided sessions. There is a presentation available that supports this pack.

(NEW) BTEC L3 Applied science Unit 2: calculating unknown solution titration work pack

This is a work pack which helps support learners in a write up for part of Learning Aim A assignment. The learner makes a standard solution of calcium carbonate from solid, then uses this to standardise the hydrochloric acid in a titration, and finally uses the standardised hydrochloric acid to calculate the concentration of an unknown solution of sodium hydroxide using a titration. I have not specified the concentration of HCl or NaOH as it doesnt matter but I used 0.1M for each.

BTEC Skills Assessment

This is a general assessment. I used it at the start of the year to assess learners understanding of exam language and to see how they naturally approach an assessment. It does not require the learner to have any knowledge and can be used in any subject. The learner researches animal parks and is assessed on their presentation for moderation skills.
