I’ve used this resource with my GCSE English students studying Much Ado, covering the major themes of the play. Ideal as a revision resource, in the classroom, or as a prompt for essay questions. Inbuilt into this is context, language analysis ranging around the whole play, hitting all the assessment objectives required in the exam. Themes included: Social Class Honour Love Deception Nothing and Noting How is [theme] presented in the play?

GCSE History- all exam boards This resource contains both a powerpoint and an extremely detailed set of notes on how the Depression helped the Nazis rise to power. The notes are in a question-answer style form, for aided memory retention and self testing. Can easily be transferred to flashcards(e.g. quizlet or anki). ideal for teaching or revision. The following key questions are covered: Wall Street Crash What was life like in the Depression? How did the Depression weaken the Weimar government? How did these problems help the Nazis?

The maths behind the coronavirus unit of work This resource contains three lessons on the maths behind the coronavirus, useful for students in year five to nine. Each lesson is planned with warm ups (starters), main, and cool downs (plenary), and worksheets to complete in the lesson. Lesson one focuses on how the economy rapidly changed during this period of time. Lesson two focuses on vaccines, and how we can use maths to help create the perfect vaccine. Lesson three focuses on the maths behind social distancing and how we can use data and statistics to back up our points and make factual statements. This is a perfect opportunity for students to learn some maths beyond the curriculum.

Charles Darwin Fact File and Comprehension This resource is an effective and fun way to be introduced to key information about Charles Darwin and his life. Contains 10 questions and detailed mark scheme.

11 Plus English Core Skills 11 Plus Foundation Course 11 Plus Summer Intensive Course Year 4 should be the least stressful part of the 11 Plus journey, in fact the student should only be spending 120 minutes maximum every week of doing work. Gradually the time spent on revision should increase, however it shouldn’t be labelled as a ‘chore’, make the transition as smooth as possible. In English it is important to keep on revisiting terms: grammar, punctuation, etc… It’s very easy to get quickly out of tune with SPaG. To have good creative writing skills, being able to tackle comprehension questions, verbal reasoning and more, you need to have the ‘English core skills’ Before advancing to formal English tests, it’s vital that the pupil has the knowledge and skills of basic English for the 11 Plus. English core skills is aimed to cover these topics so that the pupil can feel confident to move onto assessments. Note that this is ‘stage one’ of the foundation, so in the next stages the pupils will be introduced to ‘short’ and ‘long’ English tests. They will be prepared for this as they have gathered the skills from this book

This is why, after many of my tutees in year 4 never had work that was the perfect level for them, I created this set of resources. There’s a broad range of resources and books out there for different subjects and topics, but what do you start with? We have the solution for you. This course is the foundation to build up to success for the 11 Plus. Useful for students starting out in year four. Once the student advances and is able to tackle more complex problems, they should complete our 4 week course which is suitable for year five pupils, nearer to the exam: 11 Plus 4 Weeks Summer Course. 11 Plus Summer Intensive Course Now it’s Summer: the time where students and parents cram for last minute revision for the upcoming 11 plus. It can be a really stressful time when you do not know what activities, tests, and what resources to do, seeing as there are so many out there. Do you sometimes wish something was out there for you- a unique plan which doesn’t cost £10? Well we have that ‘something’ for you, that thing which is missing in your journey for the 11 plus.
