At the moment I am a Stay -at-Home mom with two beautiful children aged 2 and 5. I am passionate about teaching and creating resources to make learning fun! I am a qualified Remedial teacher and taught year 7 - 9 for 6 years. My resources are a mixture of what I did with my students in the main stream classroom, in the Remedial classroom as well as with my daughter at home. Happy Teaching!

Spring Tracing (Fine Motor and Vocabulary Development)

This product was designed for students to practise their fine motor skills and prepare them for writing. It has been created with a spring theme, where a spring character needs to reach a desired item. The student then uses their crayon to follow the path until they reach the item. For extra practice, we first use a non-writing tool to follow the path before using a crayon. This product is in colour and black line. A front cover has also been included to create a little booklet. I would suggest laminating the colour version in order to make it reusable. Students can then use a dry erase marker to follow the paths. A key ring can be used to group them together into a fun centre activity. Color vocabulary cards have also been included. The words are from the tracing cards. Each card contains the word in solid print, one to trace, a space for the student to write the word on their own and a picture. These can also be laminated and bound with a ring and used with a dry wipe marker as a center activity. You can read how we use ours here. CVC Sentences Task Cards

CVC Sentences Task Cards

CVC Sentences Task Cards This set of 96 task cards is the perfect activity for children who are ready to read their CVC words in sentences. Students read each of the two sentences on the card and indicate which sentence is true by placing a mark in the correct box on the right hand side of the card (use a dry wipe marker on a laminated card to make them reusable) , or by placing a peg to indicate the correct option. This set has been divided into four sections. The sections have been determined by the sight words used in each group. Below you can see which sight words are used in each section (words are : Orange: the, on, it, is, in, red, I, a, and, am. Green: like, and, to, for, has, go, see, blue, he, she. Blue: then, them, will, with , put, at, one. Yellow, my, by, come, this, look, you, up, two. I would recommend starting with the orange section and moving to the green, then blue and finally yellow as progression takes place and sight words from the orange section may be present in all the sections. I trust your children will enjoy this activity. Should you have any queries or suggestion, please contact me at margauxlangenhoven@gmail.com Margaux
