History! All of the History and a little bit more history. Some stuff's free.. some stuff isn't (mainly the stuff that took me an absolute age to make).

Year 8 lesson from my Tudor Monarch's lessons. The lesson has a lovely source based research activity and encourages students to discover what Henry VIII was like before he became the notorious king we all know and love! There are several challenge activities throughout the lesson as well as a variety of kinaesthetic, audio and visual learning activities. The lesson is based on an 80:20 module so is very student-led. Includes all activities/sources and worksheets as well as success criteria and KPIs that are age appropriate and linked to national curriculum criteria!

A simple knowledge organiser for the 'Popular Culture' section of the NEW OCR A Level History Unit Y312 'Witchcraft & Popular Culture'. Includes basic dates, information and key terms for this first part of the unit. I like to print in colour and laminate & use this to give my students a pop quiz every week unit they have learnt some key information. Great for getting their contextual knowledge up to speed! I have also included my first lesson on the unit - can be used alongside Alan Farmers' Access to History text book!

Year 7 Using Your History Skills

I use this lesson at the end of the KS3 Year 7 'What is History' topic. Students are put into groups and have to look at the evidence and suspects and work as detectives to find out who committed the crime! I made this when I was a trainee and use it every year but it is the first resource I've ever uploaded so please be gentle!
