History! All of the History and a little bit more history. Some stuff's free.. some stuff isn't (mainly the stuff that took me an absolute age to make).

An introduction to the Treaty of Versailles. Perfect for students learning about the inter-war years. Can be used in conjunction with the Ben Walsh OCR GCSE History book but can be used stand-alone also. This lesson is aimed at Y9/10 students and covers some initial information on how the allied forces & Germany would be feeling post WW1 as well as some initial sources analysis work to get them started! Includes links to two brilliant online podcasts - just click on the picture on the slide which links you on to the podcast!

A simple knowledge organiser for the 'Popular Culture' section of the NEW OCR A Level History Unit Y312 'Witchcraft & Popular Culture'. Includes basic dates, information and key terms for this first part of the unit. I like to print in colour and laminate & use this to give my students a pop quiz every week unit they have learnt some key information. Great for getting their contextual knowledge up to speed! I have also included my first lesson on the unit - can be used alongside Alan Farmers' Access to History text book!

I use this lesson at the end of the KS3 Year 7 'What is History' topic. Students are put into groups and have to look at the evidence and suspects and work as detectives to find out who committed the crime! I made this when I was a trainee and use it every year but it is the first resource I've ever uploaded so please be gentle!
