Why Do We Use Letters In Algebra
This is a gentle introduction to algebra and is a great activity to introduce the concept of using letters to represent unknown values. To demonstrate this we use shapes in place of letters and ask learners to find the missing number. Practice questions are provided at the end of the video.
Angles in Parallel Lines
This is a link to our YouTube video which explains the rules for an angle formed by a transversal (line) crossing a pair of parallel lines: corresponding angles, alternate angles, corresponding angles and allied angles. Practice questions are at the end of the video.
Bearings in Maths
Link to YouTube video: This video will explain what bearings are in maths and how to calculate them. A practice question is provided at the end of the video.
