A getting to know you activity for the beginning of the year. Children have the chance to draw and describe themselves thinking about what they are good at and what they enjoy doing. This can be used throughout school and would be great for a start of year class display board.

simple grids to record the phonemes that children know from phase 2 - 5. Also includes tricky words from phase 2,3,4, and 5. Each grid has a column to add each child's initials ( there are 30 rows but can be edited to suit your class) I have used this grid for a few years now and find it great as you can see your whole class gaps at a glance and it can be added to at the end of each half term. You could even use different colours to record each half term so that you can see their progress.
