power point presentation to introduce estimation. There are speaking and listening opportunities for the children as well as a challenge to do in provision. Each slide has objects for the children to estimate and the answer jumps in when you click the mouse. give children maybe 10 seconds on each slide and ask them to write their ideas on individual whiteboards.

Winter words worksheet, ideal activity to assess children's knowledge of the winter topic. Children can write down all the winter words that they know. Can be done individually or blown up to use as a group.

Smart Notebook activity to introduce animals and their habitats, discuss the difference between wild and domestic animals as well as thinking of some examples of these animals. Finish the activity with sorting the animal pictures into domestic or wild. Also included is the Activity in a word document so that you can use each page as individual/ group written tasks.
