A classic activity, requiring children to make the words containing the middle short vowel sounds with magnetic letters or letter cards first, then write the words. Use these word towers on tables. Print out and trim the left edge to the line. Laminate and fold along the line joining each column. Tape along to join. They will then stand freely on desks.
