A complete set of Powerpoints for the OLD AQA A2 Physics course
Matches well to the new syllabus.
Included are two versions of the old syllabus. Best pick which fits what you are doing.
Edexcel IAL - CORE Practical 5 - Investigate the effects of length, tension and mass per unit length on the frequency of a vibrating string or wire
Suitable for Edexcel IAL and Edexcel regular A-Level this is the fifth of many documents that students can use to complete the core practicals from the Edexcel A-level and IA-Level syllabus.
I will be completing a worksheet such as this for every CORE practical in the syllabus.
A full collection of materials for teaching organic synthesis mechanisms.
Included are animated breakdowns of all the different synthesis pathways at SL and HL

Mechanisms compared such as Oxidation vs Reduction
Different types of Nucleophilic Substitution
Edexcel IAL - CORE Practical 3 - Determine the Young modulus of a material
Suitable for Edexcel IAL and Edexcel regular A-Level this is the third of many documents that students can use to complete the core practicals from the Edexcel A-level and IA-Level syllabus.
I will be completing a worksheet such as this for every CORE practical in the syllabus.
Edexcel IAL - CORE Practical 2 - Using the falling ball method to determine the viscosity of a liquid
Suitable for Edexcel IAL and Edexcel regular A-Level this is the second of many documents that students can use to complete the core practicals from the Edexcel A-level and IA-Level syllabus.
I will be completing a worksheet such as this for every CORE practical in the syllabus.
A collection of CORE practicals for Mechanics and Materials - Unit 1 of Edexcel IAL Physics.
Determination of g
Determination of the viscosity of a liquid
Determination of youngs modulus of a material
All three standard practicals that are often asked in other syllabuses.
A great resource for more able students
Venn Diagrams for states of matter, different types of matter, bonding, acids, alkalis and bases and many more types of activities… Really good to develop higher level thinking skills.
A document with a bunch of questions related to famous scenes in movies.
Contains 16 film clip question sheets with a link to a youtube video that analyses them.
A worksheet that comes in 4 varieties.
Differentiation for numeracy, literacy and conceptual ability worksheet
A similar document will be produced for other 6 mark questions.
It comes in 4 levels -
lowest - they need to sequence the diagrams and text. This is still very challenging for students with beginner English though perhaps solving the FORCES anagram might help.
medium - they need to figure out the missing words first before doing the same as the lowest level of challenge.
hard (literacy) - they have to write the scenarios from scratch but get given the equations and free body diagrams.
hard (literacy and numeracy) - they have to do the above but also do the free body diagrams and equations.
Edexcel IAL - CORE Practical 4 - Determine the speed of sound in air using a 2- beam oscilloscope, signal generator, speaker and microphone
Suitable for Edexcel IAL and Edexcel regular A-Level this is the fourth of many documents that students can use to complete the core practicals from the Edexcel A-level and IA-Level syllabus.
I will be completing a worksheet such as this for every CORE practical in the syllabus.
