Differentiated (5 ways) maths lesson based on using a protractor and measuring angles.
SEN - includes circling angle type and knowing the angles sizes between for each type. (right, acute & obtuse)
LA - Includes right, acute and obtuse angles blank ready to measure.
MA - Includes right, acute, obtuse & reflex angles (2 pages)
HA - Includes right, acute, obtuse & reflex angles mixed orientation (2 pages)
HHA - Includes right, acute, obtuse & reflex angles mixed orientation as well asking the children to make an estimation of the angle size (2 pages)
Improve/uplevel the description - includes example for chn to uplevel - great for distance learning
Three versions - differentated, English task!
Each document has an example of an edited description and room for the children to improve/uplevel it.
Example can be used within a week’s work, as a WAGOLL or as a independent task for an English or Guided reading lesson.
Would work well for distance/online learning.
Science Investigation - Measuring temperature - suitable for at school or at home (online teaching)
For this Science investigation, the children need to complete the result table by measuring the temperature in different places. They must have a thermometer.
Two different tasks - one at school and one at home. Easy to follow and clear to all so could be used independently by KS2 children at home, as part of online / distance learning or at school. Or could use one in class and set the other as homework.
