Planning for two weeks of Book Talk based around the traditional tale, ‘The Little Red Hen’. This planning was planned with a Reception class in mind.

An easy to use talk mat to support oral retellings of stories. It prompts the children to think about the beginning, middle and end. Once printed out, objects/drawings/words can be added to either support a retelling or make up a new story!
