This simple and well-organized reference sheet is broken into 10 color-coded chartst that count by ones in increments of 10. Each chart is a different color for easy reference. This can either be printed and distributed to students and/or used as a poster. It can also be laminated and used again and again. This serves as a great tool for struggling students, for differentiation, and for so much more. Try using it to support addition, subtraction, multiplication and addition! Check out this all-inclusive lesson packet for geometry stations. Included with worksheets, directions, station labels and so much more, this bundle will take care of an entire lesson on triangles, labelling them, describing them, identifying different polygons, identifying 3-D shapes, and explaining different angles. Some materials are needed to take this lesson to the next level including the following: scissors, construction paper, glue, and then something straight like popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, straws, or toothpicks. • Station 1 - Triangles will be labelled based on their sides and based on their angles (5.GB.3) • Station 2 - Label the 2-D polygons based on the number of sides (5.GB.4) • Station 3 - Create and describe angles based on given labels (4.GA.1) • Station 4 - Identify each of the three dimensional shapes with a label (6.GA.4)

Increase student engagement with this Tic Tac Toe choice activity on Geometry. You can set it up as you like for students to have to include the middle box or a right side, etc. The idea is that students pick three assignments in a row to complete. They are all project based. This can either be implemented as a homework, where students do one a night, or as an in-class assignment in which students complete one a day. At the end of the week, presentations can be completed. This is a great way to increase participating and engagement in learning and homework. Topics include polygons, 2-dimensional shapes, quadrilaterals and sides and angles of shapes. Some of the activities include presentations, collages, venn-diagrams, anchor charts and more!

Check out this five prompt geomtry challenge. It can be used for a group or be done independently. Each of the challenges push students to create a quesiton of their own based on the topic provided which include polygons, triangles, 3-dimensional shapes and more. The prompt tells students the questions are to be test-type questions but adapt as needed.
