GCSE Physics - Contact and non-contact forces lesson plan, presentation and worksheets

(0)
A lesson plan, presentation, and worksheets for teaching about forces. Contact and non-contact forces are covered as is drawing of vector diagrams of forces. Students apply this to real world situations in the summary task. Aimed at GCSE Physics students and GCSE AQA Trilogy but also suitable for all other exam boards. This is one of a sequence of lessons, the others are available here Grade Gain

GCSE Physics - Scalar and Vector Quantities lesson plan, presentation and worksheet

(0)
A fully featured lesson plan, presentation and worksheet that introduces students to scalar and vector quantities. They learn about magnitude and direction and classify different quantities as scalar or vector. The PPT then takes them through drawing magnitude arrows and then how to draw vector diagrams from this. The worksheet gives them plenty of practice at drawing simple vector diagrams. GCSE Physics - Particle Motion in Gases Lesson plan and presentation

(0)
A lesson plan and presentation covering particle motion in gases. There is also a formula test sheet for the plenary. This lesson covers Amonton's Law, better known as Gay-Lussac's Law and the relationship between pressure and temperature for a fixed volume of gas. It also includes a demonstration I designed to show the increase in pressure from the increase of temperature for a fixed volume of gas without relying on a pressure sensor.
