A series of connected lessons aimed at primary or middle school/secondary that address the often tricky but interesting topics of space and the solar system.
Each lesson is self contained with resources including videos, practical investigations, quizzes, data collection, analysis and extension follow up tasks.
Lessons can be adapted to suit your particular curriculum and would be suitable for a half term or bimester of 9/10 weeks with an extra lesson for review.
Lessons include exploring our solar system, gravity, weight and mass, earth and the seasons, moon phases, stars and constellations, solar energy, meteors/meteorites and satellites.
The lessons need limited special scientific equipment and also included are help sheets (if needed) with guidance and support for students and teachers.
