**This resource is a single A4 form that supports feedback of raw marks and GCSE 9-1 grades for each piece of coursework. **
This is designed for Eduqas GCSE Music specification from 2018 (including 2019 Ofqual revisions). File uploaded as a PDF and editable Word Doc.
As the class teacher I fill in the majority of the form but expect students to set appropriate revision targets that are focused and achievable.
There are two functions intended here. Firstly, to clearly communicate raw marks and grades to students, in-line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) appeal requirements. Secondly, to help motivate students get into the ‘final push’ (the listening exam) with a positive outlook.
You will need to access the grade boundaries of the previous exam year in order to complete the ‘How Will You Improve Your WAG (Working At Grade)…’ section.
Target setting - a side note: I set my students short term targets out of 12 marks throughout the course, as I realised everything in the Eduqas specification is dividable by 12. This approach has had positive feedback in student voice.
Display items for options evening or classroom display boards communicating the course requirements for OCR GCSE Music (first teaching from September 2016). Statements on each item are taken from the specification booklet.
Files include summaries of:
• Areas of Study 1-5
• All three assessment components (integrated portfolio - practical portfolio -appraising)
