I am an experienced teacher and currently Head of English and Media in a large secondary school. I am also an examiner for EDUQAS English Language GCSE. I have a range of resources available on TES. Some of my resources are quite old, from when I first started out, and I am currently working in my spare time to update my resources. There are a range of resources from displays, schemes of work, revision booklets, mock exam papers and lessons available.

Training students to select individual words and phrases and link them to analysis and personal opinion. This lesson allows students to consider a range of themes and match them to short/medium quotes. From this point, students start to select individual words and begin 'embedding quotes' into their analysis- taking them a step above PEE structure. Students can use this to practice skills needed for their Eduqas English Literature GCSE examination. All success criteria, learning objectives and resources are included in the lesson, as well as embedded timers and a 'real world' link to ensure the lesson is 'Ofsted ready'.
