Rainbow Challenges is a type of Continuous provision to be used in Year 1 to support the transition from Reception. This resource includes a set of posters to explain how the Rainbow challenges works and an example week plan. Images are not mine (sourced from google images)

I used this activity with a Reception class. It got children to do an action for each time the ladybird moves. We then explored the tricky words and said them out loud. Then it teaches the letters J V and W and words with these phonemes in. Please comment and let me know how you find this - it is my first resource to upload! (I'm a trainee teacher)
