Here is the ninth of the 'Collins City' revision table sheets I use with my Year 11s as GCSE revision. Look out for the other 'Collins City' sheets and the 'Raymond Rovers' sheets. Questions 1-5 are aimed at Foundation Tier Questions 6-10 are aimed at Higher Tier
Statistical Diagram Templates

Statistical Diagram Templates

(8)
I have put together a set of templates for the diagrams students need to draw. In my experience they moan and groan about having to draw these and so these templates provide as a solution to this, and also differentiate for those that need help drawing the diagrams. Here I have a Pie Chart, Stem & Leaf, 2-way Stem é Leaf, Mean from Grouped Frequency Table, Frequency Density Table, Box Plot, and a 4 quadrant template. I have printed the required template as a handout so each student has a set of templates to use during the lesson.
Mathematical Advent Calendar Template

Mathematical Advent Calendar Template

(2)
This is a template I created for students to create their own Mathematical advent calendar. The idea is that you print off the front sheet, students cut around the dashed lines to open the 'doors&', they then stick this sheet onto a blank piece of the same sized paper. Then, they write mathematical calculations, sums, equations etc on the &';doors', the answers to which will be the numbers 1-25. They then write jokes, fun facts, pictures etc in the &'doors&';. Let me know what you think.
Trigonometric Ratios Calling Cards

Trigonometric Ratios Calling Cards

(2)
Another set of calling cards (Flashcards) I have used with my classes. This time the cards have the 3 trigonometric ratios. I put example questions on the board and then ask the class to put up the card which has the correct ratio on it that we would use in the question.

Algebraic Codebreaker Activity Worksheet

Algebraic Codebreaker Activity Worksheet

(4)
Here is an idea I got from Paul Ginnis' &'Teachers Toolkit&';. The codebreaker task gets students to use their algebraic knowledge to crack a code. I put the code up on the IWB and hand out envelopes in groups of the equations for the groups to work on. Each letter corresponds to a number. Code revealed is 'Focus, Learn, Achieve&'.

Physics P2 (Part 5) Static Electricity

(4)
Here is a powerpoint I used with my Year 11 tutees to revise with them their P2 exam (part of the AQA Science Double Award). This is part 5 of 10 powerpoints I used - look out for the others! All content is linked directly to the AQA specification!
Constructions Comics

Constructions Comics

(5)
2 sets of engaging comics containing the constructions needed at KS3 and KS4. The first comic contains perpendicular line and angle constructions; the second contains the triangle constructions (SSS, SAS, ASA). Students follow the instructions on the comics to complete their constructions leaving you time to help those students that require a bit more support. There is a triangle constructions worksheet included, as well as an index in the teacher instructions to easily find the construction you are teaching. Mathematics Awards/Certificates

Mathematics Awards/Certificates

(2)
I have created these Mathematics Awards to give to my students following their recent GCSE Mock examinations. The idea is to give them these in an 'Award&'s Ceremony&'; type lesson when they get their marked papers back and fill in AfL tracker sheets etc. Easy to alter these for any subject/teacher (just get rid of my name). I run the ppt as a presentation in class, and print off the slides to give to students as certificates to take home.

Algebraic Proof Lesson

Algebraic Proof Lesson

(2)
This notebook contains a whole lesson/number of lessons on using algebra to prove statements such as the sum of three consecutive numbers being a multiple of 6. Starter activity includes writing expressions for certain numbers as well as expanding and simplifying brackets. Lots of examples and investigative tasks for students to attempt. Questions to give to your students and plenary activities to review their learning.
Expanding Brackets and Simplifying Expressions

Expanding Brackets and Simplifying Expressions

(2)
A notebook (and converted PowerPoint) file on Expanding Brackets and Simplifying Expressions. This is a whole lesson's worth of content, possibly two lessons. Includes a starter to expand single brackets and collect together 'like terms' in simple expressions. Examples for you to go through with your class before giving students questions to attempt. There are then 4 different plenary activities to use with your class: a matching activity, a 'spot the mistake' activity, a 'noughts and crosses' activity and finally a 'Finish Him' question! I originally created this resource in SMART notebook but have converted it into a ppt for more to use/benefit from - I've added some animations to make it as usable.
Student's Individual Target Tracker

Student's Individual Target Tracker

(3)
Here is an Individual Target Tracker sheet I stick into the front of my student's ex. books. I get my classes to regularly set themselves targets based on my markings and feedback I put in their books. I then sign off their targets once they have evidence to prove where they have met them. I reward my classes when they have reached a target they have set themselves.
