Less screen flutter. Loss of focus sign - what you should do. What this program does: A way to play bingo in person with ten cards. Ways to see automated games with ten cards. I have now included the computer code, written in BBC BASIC for Windows. It may be instructive to those interested.

I am updating this program. It is complicated for an amateur program. Not that it had to be. I wrote it the fun way: I made changes as new features occurred to me during using it. Play testing gets the errors out and suggests capabilities that are interesting and useful. Bingo is a boring monotonous game, some say. What can make it better? Writing a menu, describing the program’s operation is an interesting task. As I wrote the program and used, I changed it to keep me interested; this made updating the instructions necessary. I’m pretty sure, this is the final appropriate form and function of this program. I’ve tried to describe it, even though, a program should be intuitively understood. That is, you use it without too many instructions. I’ve included on screen instructions when it is not (a breakthrough). A computer program writer gets too familiar and forgets that others are not. You have to be obsessed to do a good job. I’m updating the edition on TES with the latest. Writing instructions is its own science; how to be clear? It is helpful to give clear instructions that can be understood to firm up how the program works. I’ve activated the most important line: on error run. This makes it so a minor error will not break out of the program when a user is running it!!! I hope you’ll like my program and not be dissuaded from downloading it and using it. I’ve included the BBC BASIC for WINDOWS computer code you can understand. BBC BASIC for WINDOWS makes it possible to harness the tremendous power of a computer for ordinary people. Try it and you’ll see. Don’t be intimidated as I was.
