We are Denae and Patrick Clark. We are both teachers of 9 years. We use every single lesson in our store in our very own classrooms so we know how important high quality lesson are to you and your students. Thank you for the opportunity of bringing our lessons into your classroom. We have experience in all grades of high school and middle school.

$56 worth of materials!!
We will be updating this bundle every time we put up an Algebra 1 activity!
This bundle will cover activities that will compliment a good amount of your Algebra 1 year.
Including:
Quadratic Function
Regressions
Absolute Value Functions
Function Characteristics
X and Y Intercepts
Polynomials
Box and Whiskers
Tons of exponential work!
This 10 poster scavenger hunt requires students to use knowledge of imaginary and complex numbers and simplify using the distributive property. Students can start at any poster and simplify the expression. Once they have an answer they will look around the room for the poster with the matching answer. Students repeat the process until they get back to their original poster.
Why do students and teachers love this?
Students get automatic feedback on their work using scavenger hunts.
We've had nothing but success using this lesson as a review for a quiz/test or as extra practice after introducing complex numbers.

Linear Modeling Projects Bundle
This is a bundle of all our current regression activities. In here you will find our linear modeling projects bundle that includes 3 projects for students to choose from to motivate students through self-interest. We've also included our popular linear regression task cards (set of 20) and regression stations requiring students to apply similar knowledge of quadratic and exponential regressions.
All three activities are a giant success with our students every year and they will all tell you this is their favorite unit. Make regressions fun and exciting with this bundle!

Students will be required to convert radians to degrees or degrees to radians. Students will start at any poster they want, solve the question and look for the answer around the room. If done correctly, students will end up back at the same poster.
This is a great practice and review as it promotes self-checking and understanding of the content. We have only had success with scavenger hunts in our classroom.
Eight stations requiring students to analyze data and determine if an exponential or quadratic regression is most appropriate. At each station, students will be required to graph the scatter plot. Determine the r-squared value and answer 3-4 questions. This is great practice with regressions.
This activity is to reinforce knowledge of vertical and horizontal transformations of quadratic functions. Students are required to match an equation, graph and point notation. This is a great activity to do before a test, after instruction or for homework as reinforcement of skills for a tough concept!
This matching activity is designed to be practice for students in finding the x- and y-intercepts of a graph and from an equation. Students will have to use critical thinking skills in order to match the three sets. Finding intercepts is a difficult task for students to attain. This practice will help students see the relation between an ordered pair, equation of a line and a graphed line.
This activity is a real world application for finding the percent of a number/whole. The "store" is throwing a sale and items are 10, 25, 50 and 75% off. Students walk around the "store" and determine original cost, percent off, new price and amount saved. This activity can be used as an assessment, practice, review or extension activity for finding the percent of a number. A lesson plan is included with store items and note sheet.
A set of 64 quadratic functions task cards! Task cards could be used as a review or practice during a unit.
Set includes:
- 7 cards identifying characteristics of a function
- 5 cards finding the discriminant and number of solutions
- 4 factoring to determine solutions
- 8 vertical motion model word problems
- 8 converting from factored to standard form
- 8 quadratic formula to solve
- 8 completing the square
- 8 using special cases (perfect square trinomial and difference of perfect square)
- 8 using characteristics of symmetry to determine vertex or another point
If there is a specific skill for which you want more questions or a new type, please just let us know and we will be happy to update with whatever your class needs!
This is a set of 16 trigonometry task cards requiring students to use knowledge of basic trig functions to find unknown sides and angles. Students will be required to use all the trig functions and some inverses to find unknown values. We've also incorporated a little cross curricular fun by adding some of the most famous and tallest buildings into the word problems. These are sure to be a hit!
This scavenger hunt requires students to use knowledge of midline, period, amplitude and y-intercepts to characterize different sine and cosine functions and their graphs.
Students start at any poster, answer the question, and find the answer on another poster around the room. If done correctly, they will end up back at the same poster. This is a great activity to have students self-check their knowledge.

This class project is sure to be a hit with any and all of your students! This bundle includes 3 projects in one. All the projects relate around the same idea. Students have been hired as consultants for the Baltimore Ravens, Real Madrid or Monsters University to solve some problems. Students must use the provided data to create a linear regression (line of best fit, least squares equation) in order to determine a correlation coefficient. Afterwards, students identify residuals for each piece of data. After collecting all the necessary information, students are led through questions related to the organization. When I did this in class I gave all three projects and let them choose. The choices were mixed and the students loved that they were able to individualize the days lesson depending on their interests. After students were finished each group received a reporting form. This is the form the "consultants" would hand their employer to summarize their findings. This was absolutely a hit in our class! If you don't want all three I will put each project up individually.
This 9 poster scavenger hunt requires students to analyze information related to the graphs of linear absolute value functions.
Students are required to use knowledge of absolute minimum/maximum, intervals of increase/decrease, domain and range.
Students are given a sheet with 9 questions. Each question has characteristics of a certain absolute value graph. Students will search the posters to find the graph that matches all the characteristics on their paper. Students will then write the poster letter on their paper.
A set of 20 task cards focusing on all aspects of linear regressions. To complete the task cards students will use knowledge of linear regressions (line of best fit, least squares regression), correlation coefficients, and calculating residuals and their meaning. The bundle also includes an answer sheet for students to record their work.
This is a great review of skills for a test, quiz or standardized assessment.
