KS3 Graphics - Basic cube net to shade, create and redraw in isometric
Little worksheet for students to shade in, create and then redraw in isometric. Both sheets provided, worked well in the past with students to help them understand basic isometric drawing and net construction.
KS3 introduction to drawing methods Graphics - Quick Test
A quick 30 minute test that enables students to demonstrate prior knowledge. Print off the second sheet give one to each student. Don’t allow them to do the test, instead insist on giving them 2-3 minutes on each task, have the sheet projected on the board and give them hints if need be to start them off. they can’t move on to the next one unless you say so, as you walk around the room give the students a mark 1 if they have a few lines in place 2 if it’s mostly complete par a line and 3 if they are correct. Used this for many years and always seems to engage the students as it’s a fast way of students being graded and seeing progression. Answers are on the third sheet, usually have a student draw the missing lines on the board.

Worksheet containing a series of squares to demonstrate one point perspective.
Isometric Paper A4 & A3 in 4 different colours for easy printing
Powerpoint slides containing A4 and A3 versions of Isometric paper in a few different colours to make it easier for students to see. You may wish to scale the A4 to A3 to increase the size of their drawings or print off the seperate A3 version that will give more area to draw onto.
Bobble Head design sheet and net (no glue needed) Print off on A3 or Laser cut with 2D Design
Created these a few years back now but still use them and are always a hit with students. The bobble head net had gone throw numerous changes to enable it to easily be put together without the need of glue. Ideally you would be best laser cutting out the Techsoft 2D Design file included, however you can just about fit the net onto a piece of A3 card so an option is to print or photo copy. Included is a basic sheet with outlines of a bobble head so students can be as creative as they like.
Mini trophies for students
A 2D Design file containing 4 trophies and 1 medal design. Save time creating your own and adapt these to suit. You will need Techsoft 2D Design to access the file. Clear Acrylic, 3MM works best, may have to adjust your tolerances on the opening on each base to ensure tight fit.
