A web-based activity (webquest) that can be used for GCSE or A level students on the ethics of lying. The activity sets up a scenario in which the students have to take on the role of a researcher for a Sunday morning TV programme. The integrity and quality of the programme (and the research) is therefore important. Some links to websites are provided as a starting point.

“It will look good on your CV” is not a phrase I like. I say do it because it’s the right think to do and will make you a better person. This assembly was inspired by a personal tragedy but the pride I had that the person had lead a great life rather than have a great CV.

A level Buddhism workbook

This workbook was designed for my A level group who are studying Buddhism as part of following the Edexcel A level Religious Studies specification (Year 12). With no textbook to use, I wrote a series of questions for each topic that would cover the requirements of the specification and provide students with notes to revise from. It also encouraged independent learning. I would ask students to complete a number of questions prior to each lesson for discussion. There are blank sheets on which I would get my students to stick exam questions from the specimen papers.
