You can use them with any level – your choice of vocabulary and tenses will determine the level. The example unit would be perfect for anyone interested in the topic of teeth, health or the dentist. • This pack also includes a sample set of finished worksheets (with answers) on the topic of “Dentist”. The level is pre-intermediate to intermediate. • You don’t need to create all the worksheets for a given topic; simply choose the ones you need. The worksheets are in four categories: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and speaking & listening. Of course, you can also adapt the worksheets and include your own activities and categories. • Remember, as the teacher, you should know the answers to the worksheets! Pancake day is also known as Shrove Tuesday. This Pancake Day presentation covers the history of pancake day, and a complete recipe of how to make your own pancake, complete with pictures. The Pancake Day presentation ends with a fabulous Pancake Day quiz to make sure the children were listening carefully. This presentation could be used in the classroom, printed out as an instant display or used as a whole school assembly.

Holi is an Indian Spring Festival which is now celebrated around the world. My presentation comes complete with a story about why this festival is important (you can choose between a long or short version), a description of what happens and lots of colourful pictures of the event. In addition, you are able to read the lives of two Indian children as they get ready for Holi and what they do on the day. These could be printed off and read individually or they could be projected onto the interactive whiteboard and read as a class. The students could then think about how they would like to celebrate the coming of Spring and who knows, perhaps even have their own version of Holi in the classroom!
