This is similar to meion Haustier which I uploaded previously, but has been edited to suit my Year 7 class. Five authentic blogs about pets, written by relatively young native-speakers.( I've changed the names of the writers and the pets.) The texts are followed by comprehension and manipulation exercises and a toolkit to help the students form a range of sentences.

Reading comprehension activity. I have jumbled up an account of the plot of Mr Bean's holiday. Students have to read the eight mini-texts and put them in the correct order. Helpful, but not absolutely essential, to have seen the film. I have provided a solution and the original text. As a follow-up students could put the text into the first person or into the past tense or both.

An unlikely dilaogue in which Bella fro Twighlight and Belletrix from Harry Potter discuss health and fitness. I've uploaded the dialogue on its own before but it is now followed by comprehension questions in English, a grammar point relating to word order after aufhoeren and anfangen and two exercises in which students must generate sentences of their own.

Simple playscript in which Dracula repeatedly wakes up too soon, asks Igor the time and has to go back to sleep again, until finally it is midnight. Perform it with a colleague or the FLA to your class, or play both parts yourself, then get them to practise it in pairs, and finally ask them to develop the dialogue using the extra vocab and phrases supplied.
