Multiple choice quiz with fifteen questions relating to the events of the Gunpowder Plot. It is on a rolling timer so each question will automatically appear. Is great to use as a starter or plenary to check pupils knowledge and understanding of this famous event.

This is a full lesson on Magna Carta.
1)It starts with pupils thinking about their Human Rights and why they are so important.
2)Next task is video clip which is hyper-linked to picture of King John. This is just a recap on King John which relates to this lesson.
3)Then there are lots of tasks to get the pupils to understand why Magna Carta was introduced and the terms of the famous agreement.
4)Finishing off with pupils creating their own Magna Carta.
5)The plenary is a continuum line task asking pupils to agree or disagree with a statement.

This lesson has many different activities linked to Slave Auctions. It has an engaging Bell task looking at an drawing of a slave auction so the pupils can give their thoughts and ask questions of the source. The main task is helping the pupils to understand what an auction is, and then showing them images of slave auctions. There is a task linked to sources in age of expansion textbook, but as this is old it can be changed to what ever book you are currently using. Final task is creative task to create their own fliers for an auction with examples given. Extension task is A-Z of Slavery if all work is complete.

This lesson was made for a half an hour observation during an interview. The lesson takes pupils through the background of the Treaty of Versailles and terms. There is also an exam question. this is an inference question which links to paper 3 section A on the edexcel. The sorting powerpoint can used in many different ways. It is all the terms of Treaty and some possible categories to put them in. To differentiate get pupils to put them into their own categories.

This is a key stage 3 lesson on why William was able to win the Battle of Hastings. There are different tasks including a game to test the pupils knowledge and understanding. There is an example exam style question on the end the lesson.
A lesson which looks at the Volstead Act and the effects it had in the USA. The lesson has a set of cards which can be put into different categories and used as evidence to answer the exam question at the end. Starter task relates to current affairs and the possibility of banning alcohol in Britain.
