An easy and worry free way to deliver parts of the Grade 3,
BC Health and Career Education NEW Curriculum!
Use this resource as a starting point and expand as necessary, or to quickly cover an expectation.
This resource covers some areas of the New Health Education as well as the New Career Education. As the Curriculums have not yet been finalized, this package will be revised in the near future, without any further cost to you.
This resource has been created to facilitate the task of teaching the many prescribed curricular competencies/contents in the British Columbia Ministry of Education, Health and Career Education Curriculum Documents.
This resource does not replace the documents.
The Health and Career Education Curriculum (Grade 3) is divided into six categories.
To make this resource teacher friendly, we have colour coded each category title and frame. These colours then repeat themselves on the specific page.
Copies for students could be printed in black and white to save colour ink.
The pages have not been numbered so that you have the freedom of picking and choosing the order you wish to use.
The suggested delivery method would be to make copies for each of your students of the topic sheet that you would like to work on. Read the lesson information at the top of each sheet to initiate discussion. Once discussion has taken place, instruct the students to work on the follow-up activity.
However, you are the teacher, you know your students best. Use your expertise to decide how you would like to deliver the material in this resource.
