Every week I set my students I set my students 20 multiple choice question on Edpuzzle, They answer the question, and then I walk them though the answer, this gives them immediate formative feedback before they move on to the next question. The work is then marked automatically, so I can keep up with my schools every 3 week reporting schedule and still have a life. This is a sample for the premium products. It covers mass and atomic numbers, and how to use the periodic table to work out the number of protons, neutrons and electrons. My students are responding well to this arrangement and I have weekly tracking points. The link on Edpuzzle can be easily assigned to your own class, edited and if needed correct (because everyone makes mistakes, and even though there is no scientific evidence to show that 'baby brain' exists I get very little sleep and find the mil in the mug cupboard on a regular basis) All feedback welcome!

Print out the table A3 and give to students, hide the bits of information all over the classroom and let them move around to fill in the table. Depending how how mean you are feeling I suggest hiding some on the ceiling and under chairs

This experiment can be heard to do in class sue to lack of resources, but is frequently asked about in exams. I have made a videos of the experiment and students have to draw the graph from the video. The video has no sound Full sheet with differentiated questions coming soon...

Booklet of activities that covers the whole topic. I print this out as an A5 booklet and get students to stick that in their books then work through it over multiple lessons. I tell them it must be completed by the date of the end of topic test, but they can work through it at their own pace and pick which activity they do each day. You could print this out as A4 work sheets, or use it digitally. You hand this over and all you need to do is check they are working in lessons. It does look a bit chaotic, as everyone is working on different things. A large range in activities is included. I have analysed the impact on student achievement this style of learning has and my preliminary data is showing am average of 0.5 grade increase per student. This took me a very long time to produce and I'm not charging for it, if you re going to use it please do not remove the footer or the links to my YouTube channel.
