AQA GCSE PE 2016 (1-9) Year 10 Mock Exam Pack

(0)
AQA GCSE PE 2016 (1-9) Mock Exam Pack- Paper 1 & 2 and mark schemes as well as accompanying pupil analysis form. This exam pack has been designed following the format of the specimen papers. Paper 1 is about the Human Body and Paper 2 is about the socio-cultural influences in sport. Both papers are out of 78, starting with 7 multiple choice questions, becoming increasingly challenging and finishing with a 6 mark and then 9 mark question (in exactly the same way that the latest 2 specimen papers are set out). This paper however covers only the first 5 units as set out by the AQA suggested scheme of work which can be found on their website. As it only covers the first 5 units, your pupils will have covered the entire content of the paper providing a more realistic view of their progress at the end of year 10. Included in the pack are both paper 1 and paper 2 as well as an exam analysis form that the pupils can fill in. This provides the topics, maximum marks available and the pupils score. This will enable them or you to easily find gaps in knowledge and pupil's weak areas. This is an exceptional assessment tool for the end of year 10.

GCSE PE (1-9) Revision Maps / Mind Maps / Topic on a Page

Guided mind maps / revision maps to help pupils cover a ll content when revising. They are mainly knowledge based for factual recall with some application activities. Useful for all learners to check knowledge and highlight then close any gaps in knowledge. Can be done independently or in lesson as a task. Easily differentiated with the optional use of exercise books or text books alongside the task. It is designed for use with the AQA (8582/C) specification. But will be mostly relevant to all boards. Will print as A4, but is best used when increased to A3 when photocopying to allow pupils sufficient space to answer effectively.

AQA GCSE PE (1-9) 2016 Spec. End of Unit Tests

8 End of Unit Tests for the new AQA GCSE PE Specification. They are created using the suggested 2 year scheme of work by AQA and all answers are written using both the AQA specification and the endorsed text book. Each test starts with 3 multiple choice questions and is followed by a mixture of short and longer answer questions. Each test is out of 30 and fits on 2 pages. They all have the option for diagnostic marking to highlight weak areas. These are set out so that follow up work on weak areas can be done. I use the zigzag education topic tests for this. This is a fantastic resource that will save you and your team hours of preparation time and not only assess your pupils, but highlight the weak areas for further intervention.
