This 4-page resourse is based on a 10-minute video about Hollywod actors and their ‘love affair’ with Russia - actors with Russian ancestry, actors that have business interests in Russia and those simply in love with the culture and language.
The worksheet contains:

13 pages of translation exercises to practise essential vocabulary and memorise key facts, numbers and ideas on the themes required for A-level specification.
A total of 41 complex and compound sentences in English and their translation into Russian.

All sentences contain essential vocabulary required at A-level. Each sentence is developed using essential constructions. We included a variety of syntax structures, coordinating/subordinate common and compound conjunctions, different verbal forms to reflect the exam standard requirements. Many sentences contains a phrase to express an opinion, argument, make a conclusion and/or engage in a dialogue (e.g. I suppose, as far as I know, what do you think).
Answers are provided to English sentences. However, the exercise can be done in reverse - using Russian answers to be translated into English.

A resource based on an authentic newspaper article. It is aimed at expanding business (retail and finance, specifically) vocabulary and word collocations. Mulitple choice exercise is aimed at revising participles and paying attention to the meaning of prefixed verbs in set expressions in formal Russian .

The paper follows the order of tasks in an exam assessment paper:
-shorter writing task;
-longer writing task;
